 Ombra’s magickal journey began years ago with owning a used and rare bookstore that specialized in new age, pagan, and occult titles. Ombra later attended a pagan festival to understand their clientele better. At that festival, Ombra had a chance to hear Oberon Zell talk about his School, “The Grey School of Wizardry,” and the rest was history. Along the way, Ombra explored various magickal paths, taking correspondence courses with Rosicrucian and pagan schools, before deciding that the secular vision of the Grey School remained the perfect fit for allowing the individual pursuit of magickal interests. Ombra’s primary area of magickal focus is various folk magick traditions, developing relationships with both the spirits of the land and with the ancestors, and most importantly, learning how to integrate these traditional magickal elements into our modern way of life. These subjects remain a regular part of Ombra’s daily magickal practice and ongoing research. |
