An Announcement by Vice-Captain Greyseeker:

Grey School is pleased to announce a new award offered to Apprentices called “The Wizard’s Cap!"

The Wizard’s Cap is an award for an Apprentice that has demonstrated and exceeded expectations about what it means to be a Wizard.

In order to be eligible to earn this award, this Apprentice must perform an act of service or pursue an activity which has impressed a Dean or faculty member of Grey School. The Dean or Faculty member must nominate an Apprentice, and this will be forwarded to Dean of Students and then the Administrative Council for evaluation.

Once this process is complete, the grand prize of the Wizard’s Cap will be a free term of tuition. This award will start during the next school term on the autumn Equinox which is September 22, 2020.

The Grey School of Wizardry is proud to announce the fourth annual Obie Awards!

As a school of Wizardry we would like to recognize public figures who have exhibited visionary wisdom in works, who exemplify and portray the ideals of Wizardry as reflected in the lives and legends of those who have been regarded as Wizards throughout myth and history. Wizards who have inspired others to pursue a path of wisdom, and who have advanced the public understanding and acceptance of Wizardry in the modern world. By the same criteria we apply to famous Wizards of the past, we wish to honor selected modern figures for their distinguished service with this ancient title of respect: “Master Wizard.” This is a lifetime achievement award, and is given only once to any individual.

Mark the Dates and Make it so, Our 2020 Conclave is a GO! 

• Our first Physical Conclave in YEARS will be held on July 10-12 2020, at 123 Poultney st. Whitehall New York! Events begin at 5:00 pm Friday the 10th for opening ceremonies and will conclude on Sunday the 12th at 5:00 PM. Train Transit to Whitehall is available through Amtrak. It is our pleasure to inform those of you arriving by train on the 10th, that transportation to the Conclave Grounds can be provided, please contact the Provost with your arrival time at least two weeks prior to the conclave to arrange accommodations. Please do keep in mind that Apprentices and Magisters will be allotted a Camping Spot on the Conclave grounds, although a tent and sleeping gear will not be provided. Keep your eyes on the Forums, and on the Facebook Group, in the coming weeks as more details are on the way!
